Dr Vera Fried has been with Welcare for approximately 20 years. She completed her medical training and family practice residency at the University of Toronto. When not at Welcare, Dr Fried enjoys the arts and is one of the House doctors for the Canadian Opera Company. She is a staunch supporter of TFC.
Dr Saila Kuruganty attended Queens University for medical school and completed her Family Medicine residency at U of T. Her interests are women’s health and travel medicine. When not at Welcare, she works at Women’s College Hospital out patients Women’s Clinic.
Dr Katie Killorn attended Queen’s University for medical school, and completed her family medicine residency training at McGill University. She then completed a third year enhanced skill program in Women’s Health at the University of Toronto. When not at Welcare, she works at the sexual and reproductive care clinic at Women’s College Hospital.
Dr Jennifer Ng has been with Welcare since 2014.
She completed her medical training at Queen’s and her
family practice residency at the University of Toronto.
Dr Abigail (Abby) Gradinger completed her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Toronto, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Center, where she served as chief resident. She attained her medical degree at The University of Ottawa. Prior to medical school she earned a Master’s of Science degree in Human Genetics from McGill University and a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree from University of Western Ontario. She is interested in all aspects of family medicine including pediatric care, geriatric care, and minor procedures such as IUD insertions.
Dr Herman Gill completed a three year residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Centre and returned home to Toronto in 2020. He is excited to be back home in Toronto and practicing. He has special interests which include long term care in aging, as well as in mental health. He enjoys camping, travelling and trying different cuisines, and is always happy to hear of any recommendations of new places to explore!
Dr Kira Gullane grew up in Midtown Toronto, and is happy to be back working in the area. After completing her Bachelor of Medical Sciences at Western University, she attended medical school at the University of Limerick in Ireland. She finished her training in urban/rural Family Medicine in Manitoba. She covers all aspects of family medicine from newborns to geriatrics. When not at Welcare, she works for Toronto Public Health at a birth control and sexual health clinic.
Dr Sue Sundaram is thrilled to be joining Welcare after many years working in a small practice. She completed medical school at Memorial University in Newfoundland and her family medicine residency at McGill University. She continues to enjoy the varied challenges that family medicine brings and in her practice, tries to focus on addressing lifestyle aspects of health as much as possible.
